On March 22, 2019, the Fede­ral Coun­cil ope­ned the con­sul­ta­ti­on on the adap­t­ati­on of fede­ral law to deve­lo­p­ments in the tech­no­lo­gy of dis­tri­bu­ted elec­tro­nic regi­sters. The con­sul­ta­ti­on will last until the end of June 2019. An over­view can be found at swiss­blawg.
