Overview of the DÖB on the subject of the right to information (DSG 8) with instructions on how to proceed:
According to the Data Protection Act, every person has the right to know what data is stored about them and – if necessary – to have it deleted or corrected. This so-called right to information makes it possible to retain control over one’s own personal data. However, every person must take action themselves and exercise this right.
