The investigation by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) shows that data protection is largely guaranteed at health insurers that provide mandatory health insurance and voluntary daily allowance insurance under the Health Insurance Act. However, there is potential for improvement in some sensitive areas.
