FDPIC – The private publication of commercial register data

Anyone participating in business life as a sole proprietorship, partnership or legal entity must be entered in the Commercial Register. The representative bodies must be listed with their full names. The data is published in its entirety on the Internet, from where it is integrally taken over by some private credit agencies. These enrich the data with other information, restructure it and also publish the results of their work on the Internet. This is not only problematic if the data is no longer up-to-date. The credit agencies are also not allowed to go beyond state data processing in other contexts.
