More and more companies and public authorities/institutions are outsourcing their data processing, which was typically done internally in the past, to external companies and are turning to cloud computing. The applications (and data) are no longer located in the company’s own network, but in the cloud. Access to data, services and infrastructure provided in the cloud is via remote access.
