Nowadays, citizens conduct part of their social life on the Internet. This trend is fueled by the rapid development in the area of new communication technologies. Where more and more private information is posted on the Internet, data protection is also called upon. In this document, the FDPIC explains the risks and dangers of social networking sites for privacy and makes recommendations to those involved for improved protection of personal data.
