FDPIC – Google Street View / anonymization request

In its ruling of May 31, 2012 (BGE 138 II 346 consideration 10.6.3), the Federal Court obliged Google, among other things, to create an easy-to-use objection option and to provide a postal address in Switzerland for people who want to raise their objection in writing rather than via the Internet. If you want to object to a recording published on the Internet, you can do so directly via the link “Make image unrecognizable etc.” at the bottom of the Street View image. Since the recordings are made in series, you must also check the other images in the street view and report each individual recording.
