The FDPIC has announced todaythat he had been informed by Facebook’s remarks at a Hearing on the Libra project, inter alia, on the role of the FDPIC as supervisory authority has taken. Since the FDPIC had not been contacted in advance, the FDPIC wrote to the Libra Association that he expected a risk impact assessment in case of processing of personal data and requested information on the current status of the project. He now awaits “the official statement of the Libra Association”.
