Peo­p­le track­ing systems are beco­ming incre­a­sing­ly wide­spread. They are used, for exam­p­le, to opti­mi­ze traf­fic and peo­p­le flows or to ana­ly­ze cus­to­mer beha­vi­or for mar­ke­ting and other pur­po­ses. In some cases, the­se systems also coll­ect sen­si­ti­ve per­so­nal data or gene­ra­te per­so­na­li­ty pro­files. Cau­ti­on is the­r­e­fo­re requi­red when ope­ra­ting them.
