Various banks submitted documents to U.S. authorities that contained names, e‑mail addresses and telephone numbers of current and former employees as well as third parties. We therefore carried out a fact-finding investigation at five of the banks concerned and subsequently issued recommendations requiring the banks to adopt a more transparent approach.
