Coun­cil of Euro­pe AI Con­ven­ti­on: Switz­er­land says yes

The Fede­ral Coun­cil has announ­ced that BR Rösti will be pre­sen­ting the AI Con­ven­ti­on of the Coun­cil of Euro­pe will sign:

The FDJP is then tas­ked with sub­mit­ting a con­sul­ta­ti­on draft for the neces­sa­ry mea­su­res under Swiss law by the end of 2026, and DETEC is also to draw up an imple­men­ta­ti­on plan for legal­ly non-bin­ding mea­su­res to imple­ment the con­ven­ti­on by the end of 2026.
