The Advisory Committee of the Council of Europe Convention 108 has with date of January 23, 2017 Guidelines on Big Data (“Guidelines on the Protection of Individuals with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data in a World of Big Data”; only in English and French). The guidelines contain general statements on data protection principles and their application to big data.
