The Association Privacy Icons today launched the Privacy Icons. They are Pictograms that complement privacy statements and thereby increase transparency. For each topic – type of data, source, special processing such as profiling, transfer to third parties, and place of processing – responsible parties can use different icons to show that or how they do or do not carry out certain processing. A video for this is available on Youtube.

The icons can be found on the website of the association downloaded become. Their use is subject to the License terms of the association and the Style Guide.

According to a statement by the association, Swisscom, the Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, SBB and Credit Suisse have already agreed to use the icons, and it can be assumed that other large and less large companies will also use them.
