On March 18, 2016, the Swiss parliament reached agreement on the draft Federal Act on the Interception of Postal and Telecommunications Traffic (BÜPF) after the last point of contention (the storage location of retained data) was resolved. The draft was published in BBl 2016 1991 ff.
