Federal Coun­cil Report: Digi­tal Finan­ce – Fiel­ds of Action 2022+ 

At its mee­ting on Febru­a­ry 2, 2022, the Federal Coun­cil adop­ted the report on digi­tal finan­ce, which aims to iden­ti­fy the oppor­tu­nities and risks of the ongo­ing digi­tiz­a­ti­on of the Swiss finan­cial cen­ter. Austria: Code of Con­duct for insuran­ce bro­kers approved 

Pur­suant to Arti­cle 40 (5) of the GDPR, asso­cia­ti­ons and other orga­niz­a­ti­ons may have rules of con­duct appro­ved by the com­pe­tent super­vi­so­ry aut­ho­ri­ty in accordance with Arti­cle 40 (2) of the GDPR. On this basis, the Austri­an Data Pro­tec­tion Aut­ho­ri­ty (DPA) has issued the “Rules of Con­duct pur­suant to Arti­cle 40 of the EU Gene­ral Data Pro­tec­tion Regu­la­ti­on for Insuran­ce Brokers”.
